lol, you hear that about Rosario? Weather and mechanical issues have delayed him. He's still in the air.

 

Bremer, of course with the flub saying the Twins were about as far from Rochester as they can be. Rosario came from wherever Chattanooga was.

Lot of admiration of Pujols, which is deserved, even though he is now a DH-only who has worse stats than Kennys Vargas, but note that he has four years at $24M per left on his contract after this year. Can you imagine how much criticism he'd get if he had only one more year at $23M?

It's even worse than you say. $26M this year, $27M in 2018, $28M in 2019, $29M in 2020 and $30M in 2021. Full no-trade clause. And to top it off there is a $10M personal services contract after the playing contract expires. And to top that off he gets $3M if he reaches 3000 hits - current total is 2874. This is what happens when a good agent takes advantage of a clueless owner.
