yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I don't know if the Twins have won a game this year when they made multiple errors.I don't know if the Twins have made more than one error in a game this year. They only had 14 coming into the game.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Twins are 6-31 (.193) with RISP this seriesThat seems high
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Dear Byron Buxton, You don't have to hit a 6 run homer in this next at bat. Just do what you were doing when you were getting on base. Take a walk... Punch on the other way. Don't try and pull those sliders away. Go with the pitch... Just get on base. Sincerly, Riverbrian

Twinsbar107 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Polanco-Vargas-Kepler have gone 1-15 with 15 LOB. Not very productive day for the 2-4-5 hitters in the lineup. Too easy to blame the game on the manager when the player's aren't getting it done on the field.Your going to have bad days.... I disagree with bunting in general. Let the young kids hit
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Mauer is 6-6 getting on base today and the immediate 3 players following him in the lineup are 0-17.

Yesterday I took issue with the Sano pinch hitting for Vargas but I'm over it.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Nice. Haley looks like he's coming in with a bloody nose. I'm not sure they would even allow that.

Blake Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Game is intense and then, two lousy at-bats in a row by the Twins. Uggh.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Excellent sac buntI thought it was odd, since no one was on base, but I'm not going to question it

mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 The NFL has ruled it is unsafe to play any longer, but baseball players are tough so on to the 13th

Blake Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Molitor: Hey, guys, we're running out of bullpen pitchers, so, do what you can to speed things along. Rosario: I'm on it boss! Buxton: I'm with you, Eddie!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 This is interesting because Paul has done everything he could do this year to not need Haley. He is out of options now... He has no choice. Big moment for young Haley!!!

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Another guy who can't put it in play with the bases loaded. Twins deserve to lose this game.Oh hush with your out loud frustration
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 The twins are 17-95 (.178) with RISP in their last 9 home games. They are somehow 4-5 in that stretch
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Hey, as long as he gets results..... I am pretty sure MLB rules would demand someone with exposed bleeding be taken out of the game. That's the case in every sport now. Post Magic Johnson era.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Oh hush with your out loud frustration I can't deal with the strikeouts, especially looking, in those situations. Put it in play, let them make the play
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 It's been happening a lot at home. Inability to come through with guys ISP. I could live with it if they put it in play, but wayyyy too many unproductive outs. They have sucked at home. We need to throw everything we have into this team. No pissing and moaning. Cheer them on, hope for the best. Maybe something good or great can happen. I say this while it is conceivable they lose this game. Sell your soul for the Twins!
