AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Too many calls that couldn't have been reversed either way have gone against the Twins. The Rosario out at third was overturned against the Twins.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 How about the front office goes out and actually gets a closer. Closers don't strike out 5 per 9. Garbage. Terrible.

Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 With Kintzler at 96 I expect no less than 102 from press
Jerr Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Twins are 25 and 0 after the 8th inning with a lead!!!!!! I want this game to make it 26 and 0
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Throwing a lot of breaking balls for a tie game, runner on third, scrubs batting situation
Blake Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I honestly don't think any were eggregiously called incorrectly. The out at third shouldn't have been overturned. The correct call was "inconclusive." If NY can make that determination, then the Dozier run should have counted. Either NY is consistent or they are not. In this game, NY is not consistent, at all.

Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Sheesh. We got Rosario up? Need a baserunner!
Jerr Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Breathe, now for the walk off win, as this game is ours!!!!!!!
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Thank you Pressly. I am calling it, Kepler makes up for his downright awful day with a walk off bomb
drock2190 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Twins better win this or this will be a deflating loss
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I'm not the biggest Kintzler fan, but the guy has been pretty damn solid this year And last year

I think the best calls that could havd been made were made.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 LOL Bremer: A HIGH drive to right field
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I don't know how you let Escobar bat in this situation with Grossman on the bench.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 The fact is that all the calls that were reviewed came up against the Twins. I don't think any call was "wrong", but if any of the three go the other way, the Twins win the game (probably).
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 How about the front office goes out and actually gets a closer. Closers don't strike out 5 per 9. Garbage. Terrible.Whom do you suggest?
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I don't know how you let Escobar bat in this situation with Grossman on the bench. You mean Sano?
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 You mean Sano? Not really. Not the way Sano is swinging.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I stand by my statement. I think the best calls that could havd been made were made. Then we disagree.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I don't know how you let Escobar bat in this situation with Grossman on the bench. Two outs... We most likely have another inning to play regardless. I was worried that Molitor might burn Sano in that spot. I'm actually glad he didn't. We might need Grossman and Sano to do something important in the 10th.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Whatever. We got the Full Court Press on. Back in the dugout soon enough
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I'd agree with that most of the time ... but making the 3rd out in that situation, I'm not sure I do.Yeah in hind sight it could be a game killer today, but I wanted positive vibes to win the day - so I ran my mouth. I'm a bit worried for the outcome.

I don't think any call was "wrong", but if any of the three go the other way, the Twins win the game (probably). The only call I was disappointed with was the reversal at third. It didn't look conclusive to me but they might have had another angle.
