jimmer Verified Member Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 That bat of Sano is just awesome. It's must see TV. Joe getting called out on strikes like he has the last few days is very frustrating (even if a couple strike 3s weren't actually strikes).
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 1 run might be enough for SantanaNot according to his last start, but here's hoping.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2017 Author Posted May 12, 2017 I miss Jamie She's on NHL/MLB Network now. I see her every weekend on quick pitch. Good for her... making nice strides in her career. Oldgoat_MN 1

jimmer Verified Member Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Got to help a friend move. Enjoy the game. GO TWINS!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2017 Author Posted May 12, 2017 yeah, I watch her on MLB Network, but it's not the same. I look at it this way. She's one of us and therefore I feel pride in her accomplishments. She's not like that Ron Coomer fella who was one of us and then left us for the Cubs.
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 This is looking like the pitchers duel we expected Sunday

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 She's not like that Ron Coomer fella who was one of us and then left us for the Cubs. In Coomer's defense, he is from the Chicago area, and you could tell the lack of Vienna Beef products were slowly killing him in the Twin Cities. I don't think he is a traitor, I just believe he made career move that probably saved his life. Now he has access to his medicine. ashbury and Riverbrian 2
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 And then Mauer follows up with a good snag. Nothing earth-shaking about guarding the line against a lefty, but he was where he needed to be and then made a deft grab. wsnydes and Dozier's Glorious Hair 2

Watching Ervin pitch is the biggest reason why I have wanted Berrios up for a few weeks. I'm excited to watch him throw tomorrow. I'm hoping that he looks like we all want him to look. I'd like some excitement over his performance. wsnydes 1

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 What was the exit velocity on that laser? Don't know, but it sure did have a coherent wave form... Riverbrian and ashbury 2

70charger Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 I am a little surprised that it's the bottom of the fifth. I feel like maybe I misread the start time of this game. (Well, that's actually obvious in hindsight.) But I just finished work anyway, and we're up by a run. So it's not a bad spot to be in. Riverbrian and ashbury 2
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 (edited) Don't know, but it sure did have a coherent wave form...I think i'll only believe that if it left a tail like a comet. Though, not having seen it, I'd like to know how hard a ball is hit that doubling up buxton is possible. Edited May 13, 2017 by wsnydes
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 (edited) Just getting caught up but it is very telling that Molitor has moved Mauer two nights in a row in the lineup...#5 now #2. Trying to find a place for their best .252 hitter. The exit velocity rocks though. Edited May 13, 2017 by twinssporto Riverbrian 1
