Again a mistake to put Belisle in rather than Duffey or Kintzler against the heart of the Rangers' order. Last time Molitor did this the Twins lost. Mistake again.

Regardless of whether he gets out of this inning....that is absurd.

After hearing Torii talk about how he thinks Mauer can make another run for a batting title, I thought, "Where's Bert? He's one of the few who will tell it like it is."

 

Bert said something tonight about being suspended and fined over the weekend. Did anyone else catch that? Was that over the Mauer comment? Really? Did the team fine & suspend him over that?

I heard Bert was attempting a comeback to the majors.  The Twins busted him throwing batting practice to some of the guys after hours at Target Field.  He hit an unnamed player and it went downhill after that.  I guess Falvey was livid.

Yeah, I really thought that had a chance.  Even though it stayed in the ballpark it took a very good catch to turn it into an out, too.  Would have been fun to watch Buxton fly from first.

If you have the reason for his suspension, let's hear it. He said on-air tonight that he was suspended and fined over the weekend. It's worth discussing, since he's the Twins announcer.
