The push by Trump and the GOP congress to repeal the ACA is really bringing out the best in some  people... The effects of this election are going to be felt in many ways for a long, long time.

 

I think even Jesus would slug this guy:

In an interview with Stat, Marshall draws upon his medical experience to explain why the law’s expansion of Medicaid is a bad thing. It is quite an interesting explanation:

I'm encouraged that there appears to be widespread, across many political lines, opposition to the Republican plan on healthcare.  Those divides could be the start of something productive in putting the Republicans out of power.

I think more smart than good.  It at least shows some willingness to acknowledge the Russia problem and counter with a face who is both sober and capable. 

 

But why does Huntsman want the job?  It just seems curious is all.  Let's hope he can do good.

I would describe anything this organization does that can be labeled "smart" as good.  We need to have a low threshold at this point.

 

As for Huntsman, maybe he sees it as a chance to be a much-needed buffer?  Or to be in perhaps the most key position available to have influence over our issues with Russia?

 

I hate to make it seem like he's a white knight of some kind, but that's the best I have.

If the economy is still as is and the Administration can avoid an outside crisis (or handle it acceptably), the mid-terms will be a rock fight.

 

If the economy turns or there is a bad response to a crisis, it will be a landslide.
