Grossman has a pretty good OPS. So good, that one asks, should he be the LF and Rosario the 4th OF? Eddie can play all 3 spots, whereas RG is limited to LF. Makes some small sense.

 

Also, Vargas needs to play until he proves he's not capapble.

Clearly we need to find ways to get Milone and Berrios into the lineup.

 

On a more serious note, Grossman's defense is so horrendously bad that only playing DH will give him any positive value with this team. So I'd much rather see Rosario in LF next year rather than Grossman out there.

I like the kid, I'm rooting for him, and he's had a remarkable season at the plate, but when his offense fizzles out, Grossman will be taken away.  From the starting lineup, at least.
