Uh......it's Logan's Mom.

How do you forget a player of that stature?

Now, now...This is an inclusive website.  We should refrain from nasty, mean spirited sarcasm.

You need to say nicer things like this:  That Molitor fellow is a helluva MLB Manager.  Creates some of the best lineups I ever saw.

Here's something to consider:

Grossman has a pretty good OPS. So good, that one asks, should he be the LF and Rosario the 4th OF? Eddie can play all 3 spots, whereas RG is limited to LF. Makes some small sense.

Also, Vargas needs to play until he proves he's not capapble.

Clearly we need to find ways to get Milone and Berrios into the lineup.

On a more serious note, Grossman's defense is so horrendously bad that only playing DH will give him any positive value with this team. So I'd much rather see Rosario in LF next year rather than Grossman out there.

I am formally nominating this song as our anthem for next year.  Will need Mod approval though.

Can't speak for all the mods, only for myself:  approved for use.

However, the thing is...I strongly suspect we WILL, indeed, take it more.

We're still here, ain't we?

Bert said Grossman just kept looking up hoping the ball would reappear.

Funny, I keep looking up hoping Grossman would disappear.

Grossman looked up, wondering "where is the ball?" and then it hit him.

Grossman is last in major league baseball in DRS (Defensive Runs Saved): -21.

Whatever he does on offense is taken away by what he doesn't do on defense.

Let's also remember that he has only spent around 600 innings (most full time starters have 1,000+ innings at this point). So he's quickly accumulated that number and it'd be even worse if he had started the whole season.

Very good point.

And if his .363 BABIP comes back to earth and clips a bunch of points off his OPS next year, he might be among the team leaders in negative RBI, or ORBO (Offensive Runs Batted Out).

I like the kid, I'm rooting for him, and he's had a remarkable season at the plate, but when his offense fizzles out, Grossman will be taken away.  From the starting lineup, at least.
