LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Why does the new "We are" FSN promo with Bert in it have the Emperor's Theme as background music?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Is it just me, or does anyone else have an irrational fear that a UFO overflight will distract Buxton from a fly ball and cause him to get conked on the melon like that Mets center fielder did? http://cdn3.sbnation.com/imported_assets/1493449/bernard-gilkey-mib-e1294969848764.png So, just me. Again. ok.
70charger Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Phil Cuzzi calls that fair.
snepp Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Fashionably late entrance, and we're winning! Until the bottom half I'm sure, now that I've said it.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 For no particular reason, I've always liked Jay Bruce's game, and even though I would have rather seen him come to a competitive Twins team at the deadline than struggle with the Mets, at least he got out of CInci and has a good shot at the playoffs. Plus I love that ELO song... 'Brrruce! Don't bring me down!' What? What are you guys laughing at?Hold on tightly to your dream.....
twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 It's been so long since I've seen a pitching duel go through the 5th I'm not sure what to do. Is this normal?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Hold on tightly to your dream.....It's got a strange magic.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 In honor of Pink Floyd: "Is there anybody in there?"
twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Well it looks like we have at least 3 or 4 people on the Whine line tonight. The team really is that bad isn't it?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Well it looks like we have at least 3 or 4 people on the Whine line tonight. The team really is that bad isn't it?Wait 'till next Saturday.

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Centeno is looking a lot better behind the plate. I'd like to see him continue as the backup for next season.
snepp Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Bottom 5 complete, still have the lead. Maybe I'm not such a negative presence afterall.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Centeno is looking a lot better behind the plate. I'd like to see him continue as the backup for next season. Makes sense, with either Murphy or Garver to share time. Not a star, but we aren't going to get a star catcher anyway.
snepp Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 How 'bout those Bison today?
jimmer Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 How 'bout those Bison today? That was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Well, this is quite a story. It would be something if stem cell treatment could replace more of these surgeries. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/09/latest-on-angels-garrett-richards.html
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Rosario and Buxton made to look pretty bad by a AAAA fireballer.

It would be something if stem cell treatment could replace more of these surgeries.http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/09/latest-on-angels-garrett-richards.html Very, very interesting. That said, the jury is definitely still out. And do we know whether this is at all helpful compared to the traditional therapy when it comes to complete tears?
Rosterman Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 A lineup without Schafer, Grossman and Suzuki. Is Molly reading Twins Daily?!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 It's been so long since I've seen a pitching duel go through the 5th I'm not sure what to do. Forgetting you ever saw it could prove helpful if you plan on watching any more Twins games this year...oh, hell, who are we trying to kid... and next year too.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Hold on tightly to your dream..... Great song. Can't get it out of my head.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Well, this is quite a story. It would be something if stem cell treatment could replace more of these surgeries. I'd prefer that to the competing pathway to limb repair...

70charger Verified Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Polanco is still hitting. I have to say, I've been quite impressed with him. He's not Dozier (who is?), but he's a very competent major leaguer from day one. That's great to see.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Great song. Can't get it out of my head. It's a livin thing.
