Game Thread: Twins @ NY Mets 9-17 6:10 PM CT

[Danchat]

That was an impressive strikeout of Cespedes by Wimmers. He's been pretty effective as of late. If Wimmers can improve his command and limit the walks, he could be a keeper in the bullpen.

Buxton is going deep here!

Or a bunt.  Maybe a double too.  Triple would be nice.

[Monkeypaws]

Relief provided by 2010 1st rounder, 2012 2nd rounder. Looked good too.

How do you get a name like hansel Robles

[LaBombo]

Makes him look about sixty.

Or 40 year old Gary Busey...

Mom was German and dad was a Spaniard.

I'm floored.

[snepp]

[Aggies7]

He absolutely mauled that pitch.

I was partially correct.

[70charger]

Just wow.

[Aggies7]

It's Byron and his leg kick

[LaBombo]

Hard to fault the kid for an uppercut swing when it goes third deck after being cleared for takeoff by LaGuardia tower.

[ashbury]

BUXTON!!!!

[ashbury]

Get ready for heartbreak.

[snepp]

Dick wanted Buxton to bunt.

Buxton was going to bunt.

I wanted to gag.

What an awesome picture!

[wavedog]

Nice call - way to go Buxton. Fingers crossed the bullpen can hold the lead.

It almost didn't happen after that rocky first date...

[twinssporto]

After watching Buxton the last few weeks i think we have our center fielder for next year.  He looks so much more confident and is hitting too.

Way to jinx it, Jinxy McJinxerson.

Come closer, I've got something to tell you.

Just a little closer.

^{_{Real, real close.}}

BUXTON!!!!

Thanks. I couldn't find a real Busey picture that worked so I downloaded a selfie from my phone.

Way to jinx it, Jinxy McJinxerson.

Jinxes don't work after the 10th inning when playing a NL team and its an away game.

Jinxes don't work after the 11th inning when playing a NL team and its an away game.  I misread the rules.  Sorry...
