If Joe's quad(s) is/are so sore that he needs 3-4 days off to recover, then just sit him for the rest of the year. This is why I should never allow myself to watch the games with the sound on.

Man, what is up with Berrios? I get that stats go south when you hit the majors, but 4 walks in fewer than 3 innings? That's not the pitcher we had in the minors, is it?

Everybody's too beaten down to do much more than whimper over this ineptitude. It's really to the point of being surprising if Molitor doesn't put out an awful lineup.

He'll probably need at least another 8-9 games.

 

Wasn't there a time when the Logan detractors were told to calm down because he wouldn't get more than 7-8 ABs per week? What happened to that logic?

It has happened ... Dean, Milone and Albers in the same game. Eat your heart out, Logan Darnell!

And we still had a starter start the game and four other pitchers made appearances. Whew! Games by committee. A bullpen that can't pitch thru the batting order once!

 

Somehow, Rochester had a winning season with some of this. But what happens up here is downright embarrassing!

 

There was a chance at September  1st to send a message to fans and to bring up a totally rookie (in progress) roster that we could stomach better than some of the names thrown out there today.

 

If you decided to leave this game early, you should get a refund!
