What I like most about Rodon is that by just changing a letter of his name, you can make so many different things: a radioactive noble gas, a master sculptor, or a fictional giant pterosaur.

That's just too cool.

FICTIONAL??!??!?!?!!1?

Chief, how do creatures such as Rodan and other dinosaurs we see today in the movies compare to the ones you saw in real life when you were growing up?

I'm going to have to interject here.

Salt.

The Rolling Stones.

Classics, people. The Classics.

In a discussion with one of my daughters, she informed me with a certain amount of smugness that Michael Jackson was the King of Pop! Which I agreed was a significant achievement. Which of course pales when compared to Elvis, simply called "The King"!

Question:  If Rodon had been drafted by the Twins, would he have reached the major leagues yet?

Yes! But he would be back in Rochester by now! :)

Hopefully they won't try to draft Rodan.  They have not had the greatest luck with the Asian players.  Although he probably would add a bit of attitude to the club house.

Today's monsters seem so...shallow.  Two dimensional, even.

And Bert would love the downward planes!

Gibson's been very disappointing!

I'll submit this now--I think Gibson has been pitching hurt or injured most of the second half of the year. The velocity, command and movement are all less than they were last year. i was going to say this before his CG effort against Atlanta, but that shut me up 'til now.

Whatever it is, the total is less than the sum of the parts.

"Hittable" is the term that comes to my mind.

Sox announcers are convinced Buxton looks like a different player at the plate.

I'm not sure how you can listen to them (especially Hawk), but I hope they are right.

He'd be in AA working on his new arm slot or learning a new pitch, with a 6.3 K rate, and we'd be hearing how AA is age appropriate.
