I'm guessing, at least for this outing, the grumpy and pissed off look is a result of being in Cleveland.

When will the Twins learn to stop going after these career NL only pitchers? Their stuff always takes a hit coming to the AL.

 

Hold on, I'm being informed now that he played in Anaheim, which is not actually the Senior Circut team in LA.

 

And it was the south side Chicago team?!? What the hell, this makes no sense.

Could Suzuki have tagged?

Could be Joe was fooled by expectations. Last few times Kepler's been up with men on, he's mashed it over the fence. Also, it was a good play by the outfielder, who gathered the ball in like he was going to heave it home, then pivoted and zinged it to first base.

I've never seen worse base running from a professional than Mauer today.

 

If it's anyone but the Golden Boy they would've been pulled by now. Show some effort. Third time he's cost the team an out on the bases just today. If you're injured, then don't play.
