Yeah Cleveland LF tried making a sliding catch, it was in his glove then fell out. Mauer was stuck thinking it was caught. 

 

Stinks that it costs Kepler a hit.

43 pitches for Santiago through 2 innings. We'll see if he can get 6 complete innings today. 

A month ago I'd have joked that he fits right in, but the starters have been pretty good lately.

That's two baserunning mistakes for Mauer on the day. 

This is why you don't play him in a day game after a night game.

Kurt did tag.  Mauer got doubled off of 1st before the run scored.

Kepler should be 1-1 with a SF and an RBI.... instead he's 0-2.

 

Not that the first one was necessarily Joe's fault. Maybe just unlucky.

This guy we can non-tender after the season at no cost.

You honestly think the twins would do this?  They would take him north out of spring training next year, and start him for two months, before making that sort of move.
