We are kind of the Indian's kryptonite.  When we back into the play-offs and if we have to play the Indians at some point  - they will be toast.

 

I believe this makes us 7-4 against the Indians and 6-21 against the rest of the division.

Funny, because the Indians are usually the Yankees kryptonite, and the Yankees are the Twins kryptonite, and the Twins are the Indians kryptonite. At least for tonite. And life comes full triangle.

it's one of those weird rules.  Starter leaves, lead is never squashed, then 6 relievers could come in and the official scorer picks who the game winner is (but can't pick the starter, even if he did well which Gibson didn't do).

 

He could be pitching a shutout and if he doesn't go 5, he can't be the official winner.

By the way, the twins are now on pace for 70 wins. That would make a record of 70-92. Almost unbelievable when you consider 120 losses was a distinct possibility for the first two months of the year.
