Worked for Nicholson.

You saw it, too! Huge hole in that swing, down and in...

Incidentally, the blades on the oars in the picture are called hatchets...

And the young people rowing with the oars are called 'heirs'.

I've been interested in the sport since way back, but the only body of water convenient to row on for me is one that would probably cause me to end up like the poor lads of the '78 Cambridge crew:

Molitor on the phone to the bullpen:

"Release...the Kracken!"

"We haven't got a Kracken, sir."

...

"Release Rogers!"

"****, I didn't mean to release him from the team."

wow, these Phillie OFs...

Thanks, boys.

And young Kep, once again, got the right idea, did the right thing.  Wow, it's really nice, in this lost year, to see somebody who looks like he knows how to play baseball.  Now, about those fielding gaffes....

Seriously, I really would like to see Buxton pick up one of Suzuki's Axebats. If that flattens out his swing plane, he might start mashing some liners like Zuki.

Right now Buxton does look like he's trying to axe murder the ball. Anything down and in looks like he'd be lucky to foul it off his own ankle.

Hot damn. I guess they wanted to make up for all the terrible defensive plays that have been made this series.

That was a thing of beauty by Byron Buxton. I love how he and Kepler look like good buddies. Laughing to each other after that crash into the wall. Oh, to be young, fast, and supremely talented... Or at least to feel that way, once in your life...!

Twins relief corps looking dominant just as long as our outfielders don't run out of fuel...

Oh, my.

2/3 of the Twinks' OF future, throwing some leather tonight.   Now if only Kep had thrown his leather in the right direction a couple innings earlier....  But still, a pair of fine, fine catches, and no corn involved in either one.

Gaedel's back- playing LF for the Phils?

Eddie Gaedel

Nah, can't be the same guy.  He looks more like Norman Bates' kid brother out there.

Notice how there's zero up-down bobbing of the head when Kepler's running hard. Very smooth athlete.

Yes.

Having good outfield defense can be a good thing.

Maybe the best of things, Red.
