spinowner Provisional Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I love a good two out hit or twoHow about 3?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Pretty sure I just heard Dick say this about the 7th place AL catcher by WAR (>150 AB's): "With his recent hot streak, we have to talk about All Star consideration for Kurt Suzuki". My fist and face just can't harm each other enough to get that sentence out of my head... http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cphs-0zKWAM/UF2VXSRRqdI/AAAAAAAADH4/qyzt_eldC8o/s320/ed-nortan-punching.gif
David HK Verified Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Gee, this Galvis fella has a playing style I've seen before somewhere... hmmm....

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I like the bat flip on a line drive caught 25' in front of the track

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 When did target field become Yankees stadium

Don Walcott Verified Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Are we pitching at high altitude?

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Man, Howard is just brutal anymore.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Of all the Twins who've been consistently mentioned as potential building blocks of a future championship during the past few years, I think I have the least confidence in Gibson... http://stmedia.startribune.com/images/twinsgal041816+3+19.JPG I mean, I'm rootin' for the guy, but... man...

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Man, Howard is just brutal anymore.IMO, the Phillies should DFA Howard and eat the money. Then they should claim Arcia and teach him how to play 1B, and then boom, you get a big improvement and a somewhat young player who has pop. I'm pretty sure Arcia could learn how to play 1B... he may not be doomed to play DH.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Well, with the very late start, this game is clearly above my pay grade to stay up for. Plus it looks like Gibson can't stand prosperity, and I don't want to subject myself to that. 'Later.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 This is the dozier we all hoped we'd see this year
David HK Verified Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Oh, yah, somebody shared this on the face-book thingy. You betcha, I had to try it. David HK Verified Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 This is the dozier we all hoped we'd see this yearHe was having a strong game, even an extra base hit to RIGHT, until...
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 And there's the dozier we've had He's the Dozier the Twins deserve, but not the Dozier they need right now. So they'll shop him. Because he can take it.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 23, 2016 Author Posted June 23, 2016 is the rehearsal for a tuba concert? Cuz that would ROCK!I shall play tuba in a concert on my birthday, no less. There look to be a hundred or more on stage at the time, only to others at present on tuba. So calling it a tuba concert is roughly like calling tonight's game the Danny Santana show... And i guess i'll have no problem with that. What have i missed in tonight's episode?
bird Verified Member Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Not sure who I'd rather watch pitch, Kirk Gibson or Debbie Gibson. Thinkin' Debbie.
