Heh ... my bedroom as a teenager was a burnt-orange shag ... back in the 70s.

 

Each bedroom is getting a very nice berber ... a creamy white/ivory for the guest room, a very light tan for the master bedroom.

It was something I had to do because carpet installers are coming Friday to do both bedrooms and carpet runs in the closets, too, so it was truly a necessity. And it needed to be done, so this was a good way to force me to do it.
