Heh... reminds me of a quote from a NHL GM (might even have been Lou), when his team (might even have been the Stars) was going through a patch like this.

 

He said, "Oh yeah, the other GM's are real helpful in times like this.  They all want to pluck out your eyeballs and put in grapes."   

 

I imagine some other GMs are probably looking at the Twinkies like that now.

anyone listening to Jack, Bert and Anthony right now?  Slamming the team, pretty much, AND OF COURSE, Bert and Jack comparing their complete games to pitchers nowadays and they question why our guys can't have a ton of complete games too.

 

And, haha, Bert just said Ervin Santana, Nolasco and Hughes could be pitchers like Jack and Bert.  Guys you can be counted on to stop losing streaks and such.  Stopper type pitchers.

The unfortunate thing for the Twins broadcasters is they can't really ease into the "constructive criticism" phase. They're kind of stuck singing the praises and reporting on the day's news, instead of questioning bigger picture things.
