But then it occurred to me that for the last couple of weeks,   bad weather has really been the most reliable thing standing between the Twins and a loss on any given night.

 

So no,  not even if it were raining could it be worse.

 

If nothing else,   though,   maybe each loss will subtract a little momentum from the apparently almost runaway 'Rob Antony for GM'    train.

Before today his ERA is 1.89. 220 ERA+.  2.36 FIP.12.8 k per 9.    That ERA has now balloned to 3.20.

This team sucks across the entire organization.  I've never been more down on any team I root for in a very long time as much as I am about these guys.  Zero leadership on the bench or in the field.  No one steps up in a clutch situation.  No pitcher wants the ball in a big spot and comes through.  I've tried to stay patient but everything they've tried to work for has been shredded and there needs to be a new way of thinking around these parts.  Otherwise, we're gonna become what the Royals were for 25 years.

Normally a loss like this would sting/be a bit heartbreaking and frustrating. Instead, I really could care less, it doesn't make a real difference in this season, it's a really really really bad sign that I (and a lot of fans) are already apathetic in the middle of May! In a year where we were supposed to contend.
