Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Well, if we are doing predictions... I think Park is going to hit 6HRs with 6RBIs tonight. David HK, MindFreak, Riverbrian and 2 others 5
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 And the bear needs some food, look at his sunken tummy. I think the bear is fasting until the Twins win again. glunn, Circus Boy, David HK and 1 other 4
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 On this particular day, it's best to not look. Imagine the Zach Jones thread on steroids.I doubt there would be much of interest to me, anyway.

jimmer Verified Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 I have a feeling they will win tonight. Latos has been garbage the last couple years, and there's no way he's reverted back to a dominant pitcher. And he's going to stop being good this year during this particular start?
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Dang, with Vanimal gone, my like to post ratio is going to take a nosedive. Maybe I should sit this one out. Riverbrian 1
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Alas, i will be off doing stuff for once, and probably won't follow tonight's game too closely. Sorry. I will check in at some point... Have a good game all! Have patience, and hopefully this safari will bloom. Or something. Riverbrian 1
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 I guess Molitor was just waiting for Brian Dozier to start to hit before putting him on the bench. No, Dozier decided to pull a muscle. Riverbrian 1

Platoon Verified Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 It makes no difference what you wore to mow dads lawn, the fact you mowed it is all that counts. You can always get other clothes, dads are hard to replace! spinowner, Riverbrian, glunn and 1 other 4
jimmer Verified Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 (edited) So Murphy got optioned, who is our backup catcher? BTW, wasn't Murphy supposed to push Suzuki for playing time and pretty much take over the starting job by season's end? Be prepared to welcome Suzuki back next year. Edited May 6, 2016 by jimmer

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 So I've been going to the same barber shop for a couple years now, and almost every time I go, the same scenario plays out. The barber sees this kid walking in, looks down at me and says "Watch this. This is the stupidest kid in the world!" He puts a dollar in one hand, and two quarters in the other, holding both hands open so the kid can see what is in each. "Hey kid," he says. "Which one you want?" Sure enough, the kid picks the two quarters over the dollar bill. After the kid walks out, the barber says, "He does the same thing every time!" and laughs and laughs. Yesterday, I was walking down the street after leaving the barber, and I saw the kid walking out of a candy store with a small bag of candy. "Hey kid," I says, "why'dya take the two quarters instead of the dollar? That's stupid!" The kid just looks at me and laughs and laughs. "Yeah, real stupid. The day I take the dollar bill, the jig's up." glunn, Circus Boy, David HK and 3 others 6
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2016 Author Posted May 6, 2016 I guess Molitor was just waiting for Brian Dozier to start to hit before putting him on the bench. I'm glad he's willing to consider it. Paul: (after reading this post) Hey I consider it... I don't usually act upon it... but I consider it.
David HK Verified Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Lots of tension in the other threads.. I suggest we take a deep breath, let the dominoes fall where they may, and be like this bear today. That's good advice, Van. I think I will-- ahhhh, the warm sunshine on my fur, a salmon in my belly, deadly claws resting on my powerful haunches, idly watching the tasty humans fumble about at their base-ball. And at the first sign of weakness, I will charge down off this sunny spot, and devour them, carnivore that I am... glunn, Riverbrian and ScrapTheNickname 3

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Have fun everyone. I will be sitting in the Denver airport....for what appears to be some time.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2016 Author Posted May 6, 2016 I think the bear is fasting until the Twins win again. You could place Dicaprio in the picture with his arm around the bear I'd bet.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2016 Author Posted May 6, 2016 No, Dozier decided to pull a muscle. We all face tough decisions in life.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 Have fun everyone. I will be sitting in the Denver airport....for what appears to be some time. Sorry to hear that I think Airports should have Bowling Alleys and Golf Courses because those delays happen too often. ScrapTheNickname and Mike Sixel 2
Platoon Verified Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Where's DiCaprio I wonder how Hugh Glass would have handled the news that O'Rourke was optioned? Crawling to Target Center on 94 to seek revenge on TR might have been iffy! And using the North Star line takes some of the intensity out of the trip! Riverbrian 1
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Latos is pretty inked up. I'm waiting for the time when a pitcher inks his entire arm baseball color. That could be nasty. glunn and Riverbrian 2
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Wow, what a downer of a delay. I remember when a similar thing happened in Toronto a few years back.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Waiting to hear if the fan is ok so I can make jokes about the twins season needing to be resuscitated. Riverbrian and ScrapTheNickname 2
