Wow. You and I have something in common. I too interviewed the Nuge, he was indeed a great interview, and a surprisingly decent chap. He was actually concerned about getting the interview right during the pre-interview- mind you this was at a little 5,000 watt station. We stayed mostly away from politics and discussed other things important to him. But he had no problem taking the trip down memory lane to the days of the Detroit hard rock scene in the late 60s. He actually thanked me for a great interview, and shocked me a few days later when there were two signed LPs sent 2nd day delivery, entirely unsolicited.

 

I know... He was a complete 1st rate human being. 

 

If he was your neighbor... there is no way you wouldn't invite him over. You'd ask everyone to not talk politics so you don't get him going... but you'd absolutely have him over to the house for a beer and ball game.

A couple more efforts like that by Jepsen and the league might want to think about making a four run lead in the ninth a save situation.

 

Oh well.    A much needed win is a much needed win.    Berrios got his K on,  Dozier got above Mendoza territory,   and Park rolled one up the Mini Matterhorn and into the clown's mouth for his first MLB triple and a free round of miniature golf.   All in all,  a pretty good night.

New beginnings.  I want to believe.

 

One-two-three ninth by Jepsen or broad daylight appearance by visitors from afar...   they're both possible in theory.
