Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 I'm open to either opinion. Given that Suzuki, Buxton, and Dozier are all below Mendoza, I don't think it's the worst thing in the world to assume you're not going to get 2 hits from those three.Everyone but Mauer and Escobar are under the Mendoza line... (not counting Nunez)
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Why is Arcia not pinch hitting there? Why are they bunting, down two. I am sorry, Molitor does not understand basic strategy.I heard an interview this weekend, where Dozier called it "playing not to lose." Dozier is right. hybridbear 1

notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Wait, so they gave Eaton a hit on that play that was overturned even though it was bobbled? USAFChief 1
Dr. Evil Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 I can't believe I'm saying this. But, why don't the twins try cheating? ScrapTheNickname, LaBombo, Danchat and 2 others 5

Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Danny just said Eaton plays hard. Which of course is why he has to be pinch hit for in any game that lasts more than 4 hours.Playing hard or hardly playing? HhahaaaahahHhhhAAAAAaha. Oh, I hate to laugh at my own jokes, though.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 They're playing "Let It Be" at Target Field as consolation for the brokenhearted people. The agents of Twins players whose contracts are up at the end of this season? formerly33 1
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Seriously? More bunting? Auto correct tried to make that bungling.......It's opening day. There is supposed to be bunting (the other kind, you know). I agree. That was not cool. LaBombo, Mike Sixel, Hosken Bombo Disco and 1 other 4

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 It's pretty rad how the Twins' #2 hitter is hitting damned near .400 and has 2 RBI. David HK 1

ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 If the Twins lose they will 0-7, and no team has ever started 0-7 and made the playoffs. The Twins may have an opportunity to MAKE HISTORY. (That would be fun.) formerly33 and Mike Sixel 2
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 And how few runs scored?Well, he hit a homer. So, without looking, I'm guessing "one". David HK, Mike Sixel and mickeymental 3
