I have heard the state is planning this in honor of your return.  I think by then the Twins will have clinched the central, so there will be extra celebrations.

Well, Ricky was throwing against mostly minor league guys as the big boys were in Cuba, but my guess is that he makes the club as a starter along with Milone.  They can send Duffy down to work out some kinks and not risk losing him.  Tonkin to the bp as he is out of options.  No point risking him.  And Presley makes it in the bp as well.  There's my Carnac the Great moment.

I think Duffy gets sent down and remains a starter.  You know someone will have arm issues by May, so I think they keep Duffy and Berrios waiting in the wings as starters.

If Nolasco actually ends up being good this year as his advanced metrics predicted last year (3.51 FIP), I will stop watching games and just follow fangraphs, because then the eye test truly means nothing.  

Speaking of eye test, I was extremely skeptical of Duffey continuing to be able to pain corners with a mixture of breaking balls.  Feel for yackers usually comes and goes, which is why so few pitchers rely upon it like Duffey did last year.  He'll get the feel back, but control of 2 curves plus a change like he had last summer isn't a particularly sustainable model...

I think Duffys two pitch mix plays better in the pen. People are assuming a lot from 10 starts last year.
