sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Fella just beats a throw from Hicks into second for a double, and then on the ensuing single, handily beats the throw from Buxton home. They gotta take notes from Hunter and Rosario... 2-1 Minnesota with Chicago still batting for those of you who follow CBUs...
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 ruh-roh. Scooby snacks?
spinowner Provisional Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 That bunt WOULD have rolled foul.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 I hate sac bunting. But I hate not getting an out when the other team sac bunts even worse.
Blake Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This was the giveaway tonight:image.jpgFiguring Chicago had 20,000 of those, umm, covers to give away, from the looks of the stands, Chicago probably has 8,000 or 9,000 left for next year.
David HK Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Pitching matchup: MIN: Milone (8-4, 3.54)CWS: Quintana (8-10, 3.60) Today the Twins look to get a win from the White Sox, and the A's want to beat the Rangers.#1 Thing to Think About: Minor League Playoffs - The Kernels beat Quad City in the first round of the playoffs, and Max Kepler came up huge for the Lookouts in their first game, but that isn't the whole reason why we are thinking about MILB playoffs. The real reason why we are thinking about MILB playoffs is because we are Twins fans, and Twins fans have a habit of saying, "Well, there are always Minor League games, and the playoffs are fun..." unless you are also a Packers fan, then you go root for the Pack in the fall, but we just might want to hang in here a little longer. And tomorrow I am going to my first SPCO concert of the season, and we also have this: http://ep.yimg.com/ty/cdn/yhst-78579118181749/Packers-Bears.jpgSorry, had the early AM workout, thinking the game started later---Nice opener, Hrbekowski, but see? I'm raising my hand for a couple of questions: In re: to #1-- Unless you're a what?in re: to the photo-- who are they? it doesn't look like the 'G'iants and maybe 'C'incy. I'm confused.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 We got an out! Hooray!
Jerr Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 ruh-roh ruh-roh roh-roh What is in the air there? Twins playing like the Sox
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Oh dear. There goes that lead.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Not sure how you let Milone face Abreu here.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This is what happens when you fill a rotation full of bunch of #5 types who can't strike anyone out. Can't wait for the Terry Ryan era to end
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This has turned into a not fun outing.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This has turned into a not fun outing. Perhaps you should have started that wave? Could it have averted this sequence of events?
David HK Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This was the giveaway tonight:image.jpgAugh! What is it? And the color of post-tequila-and-caesar-salad-bender puke, yikes.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Augh! What is it? And the color of post-tequila-and-caesar-salad-bender puke, yikes. But don't forget the Sox logo...
spinowner Provisional Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This is all Terry Ryan's fault. Our rotation should be Greinke, Arrieta, Kershaw, Sale and Keuchel.
David HK Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Oh, for heaven's sake. I was too busy catching up on the threaddy stuff, I forgot there was a game. Well, fiddlesticks, and phooey on Milone, too.If only somebody had started a wave to distract them...
David HK Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 But don't forget the Sox logo...Well, that kind of pulls it together, in a way.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 If only somebody had started a wave to distract them...I tried, but there's only so much I could do.

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This is all Terry Ryan's fault. Our rotation should be Greinke, Arrieta, Kershaw, Sale and Keuchel.Pretty sure the Twins have one of the worst rotations in the majors by every metric, who else would you put the blame on? Last I check Terry Ryan signed or traded for everyone in the rotation this year.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Oh for $**(#'s sake.

David HK Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Yikes, now it's Boyer. Molly must be punting.
Blake Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Well, that kind of pulls it together, in a way.Speaks volumes about the Sox and Sox marketing.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Pickoff to third? LOL I haven't seen that since high school.
David HK Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This has turned into a not fun outing.Does Mr. Beef have a stand at the park? It could be soothing. And washed down with a Goose Island for every Sox run.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Ha! They walked Mr. Buxton...
