Here's the 2022 schedule - https://gophersports.com/sports/football/schedule/2022

At Michigan State, Penn State, and Wisconsin. Hopefully they can steal one of those. The home games should all be wins. A 9-3 or 10-2 season is actually kind of possible.

Was great to be outside watching Gopher football on a beautiful night. I have a really good feeling about this team with their depth and quality of players on both sides of the ball. There isn't a game on their schedule that they should lose if they play their best football. Having Kirk Ciarrocca back as Offensive Coordinator is a big step forward for the offense which struggled the past two seasons with route design and general play design. Very glad Fleck let two guys he was friends with Mike Sanford (OC) and Robb Smith (DC) go and replaced them with guys that seem to get the most out of their personnel.

Anyone else here a Gopher fan?

The time is now for the Gophers to make the Big 10 title game. The schedule is never going to be easier than it is right now. Iowa looks terrible, and we’ve got the monkey off our back winning against Wisconsin.

Tons of experience on this team, with Morgan and Ibrahim as 6th year seniors. I would have liked to see Morgan air it out more in the 1st game… I fear the only thing he can read on the field is the RPO slant pass.

Yeah, I still think this team can finish the year as a top 20 team but it's so hard to watch this offense at times. The defense played better than the final score indicated. And, while I like Fleck, he made some stupid decisions. It's good that he's so emotional - I think it's an overall benefit - but it does have real downside.

Also, that dropped TD in the endzone that became an interception was a backbreaker.

new to the board, and admiringly only came to bother Brock about why the Cubs board went down, but I think I'll be around here a bit more. I am a U of MN grad, both undergrad and grad, and I love the fact you guys have a Gophers FB thread.

I'll be checking in!

Approved only because you said that you wanted to bother @Brock Beauchamp! 🤣

But welcome to TD either way!

ski u mah!

I did have to think long and hard about that, being that I'm a Cardinals fan.  The benefits outweighed the downside. 😀

I was thinking of starting an account on the Cubs board, just to troll and say how awful a stadium Wrigley is … I live in Chicago, so I know

you should try that. there are some there who would agree but only because we're tired of Ricketts.

I’d actually rather watch a game in that stupidly named southside stadium … just easier to get to, to maneuver, and no sightline issues

Poor taste is poor taste in my book! 🙂

Full disclosure, my SIL is a Cubs fan.  Needless to say that we don't speak.

see, I preferred old Comisky. new Com is monstrosity, I think Target Field is 10,000s better in that division. but, growing up a cubs fan, my first mlb game was at Wrigley and I still love it. I just hate the ownership mainly, and I dont care if its hard to get to because it sells out anyway - if the team is good. besides 2016 was an unbelievable year to see a game there, I've never felt that old stadium buzz like that leading up to Oct.

anyway, I know live in the Seattle area and see more Mariner games, have for the last 14 years. I grad'd with a Masters in Architecture from the U. Still love the TC area. But I grew up in Illinois, and right up until I was accepted at the U, i was an Illini fan. not so much anymore

thank you all for not beating me up too bad!
