I will be absent from the thread tonight as I am attending the hometown Billings Mustangs take on the Missoula Osprey tonight.  The Mustangs are a rookie league affiliate of Reds, and the Osprey of the Diamondbacks.  Let's go Twins! Let's make it a perfect 2-0 with Buxton and Sano in the lineup!

 

 

Good on ya, Swain, great opening salvo.    Not bad fer a guy from Monta-a-a-a-a-na.    And good to jog memory lane with the old-timers.    One of my favorite Twins memories is listening to Herb Carneal's call when Rich Reese hit a grand slam off McNally to end his record-setting winning streak in '69.    Still remember it, word for word.

 

And, by golly, didn't we here in Twinkie land loathe the O's back then?    After what they did to us in 69 and 70?  Grrrrrrr.....
