Game Thread: Twins @ Orioles, 8/21 @ 6:05pm CT

Yeesh, well done Jepsen.

[jimbo92107]

Beautiful pitch calling by Suzuki on those last three guys. Good job by Jepsen.

Holy strikeouts Batman!!! What thuh?

[David HK]

Ch... Ch.... Ch....  Chicken dinnah.   I'm too exhausted to cook, tho.  Might have to have it raw!

Who needs Perkins?

[mickeymental]

that's some bullpen: 3.2 ip, 0 r, 0 h, 4 k!

[Jerr]

Noooooooo!

[Riverbrian]

Wow. I'm starting to like the Jepsen trade now.

If he can keep throwing strikeouts like that, I'll be happy with the trade.

If he can keep throwing strikeouts like that... He'd probably set a consecutive Strikeout record of some kind.

He didn't leave any pitches up. It's kind of a cliche but true.

Jepsens's heater was down in the zone, and the curve balls just where the Orioles like them: six inches in the dirt

[stringer bell]

Best bullpen effort all year!

Winnah!

Who needs Perkins?

College kids who need something to eat after bar closing time, esp.if there is no White Castle around.

Can't even imagine where the Twinks would be if the BP performance was anywhere close to that all year.

2 in a row -- and very different wins.

That was some seriously brilliant pitching by Jepsen. I'm impressed!

Uh, don't do that Dave, seriously, don't.

Back to 500 hundred!

Yeah Suzuki got that OPS back up---and the Twins Win-Loss record back up to .500, too!

[David HK]

OK, that's job 1 for the day.  Now I have to make sure to wake up at 4AM my time to see the US take down Canadia again.   (That's 3 pm for y'all, back in God's Country, Espn3 ).

I miss Blaine Boyer and Aaron Thompson.

[TwinsCD]

Really, it was one bad pitch to Parra that hurt tonight.  Great work by the pen and it was nice to not have to really sweat out a 9th inning lead for the first time since the break.

Now, let's go Jays!!

[stringer bell]

They used their quota of luck tonight, bloopers, bleeders, close pitches, Schoop kicking the ball, the ball hitting Plouffe on the back.

I miss Blaine Boyer and Aaron Thompson.

Heh....  I was looking for the Like/milk out your nose button.
