gocgo Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Note to Graham. First, don't chirp before you've even thrown a pitch. Second, first pitch slider says I'm scared.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 And A-Rod takes a curtain call. They should throw syringes at him. But of course, being New York, they love him. He's the sports equivalent of an investment banker. Paid his fine, now he's back making money again, probably doing the same stuff he did before. I know this is really petty - and I am assuming he is being heavily monitored, but I would love for him to get busted again. I am assuming he is not that stupid - but he probably is that arrogant.
jimmer Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Where's May? And seriously, I mean the player and the month :-)
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I'm not even mad. That wasn't surprising at all. It's like watching a bad movie that's way too predictable.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Does Charlie brown still get heartbroken every time Lucy pulls the football away? I feel like I should stop being heartbroken every time we poo ourselves against NY
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 No, no Dick, didn't you hear, the bullpen is fine, no worries.
SydneyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I like JR Graham. I don't mind that he's been stashed all year for future benefit. But to Chief's recurring point through this thread, if he's the best option in the bullpen to face A-Rod with the bases loaded in a tight game....??!!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I'm so glad work will prevent me from watching tomorrow's day game. The only thing that can stop my self abuse
gocgo Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Bringing in the closer in the 8th for Sano...that's pretty high praise for the rook.
Platoon Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Is Trevor May available tonight? Serious question. Saving him for the ninth? Who knows?

AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 If Gardner hadn't caught that Mauer ball to the corner it would have landed fair and been called foul.

I am assuming he is not that stupid - but he probably is that arrogant.Everyone assumes that he is heavily monitored....but he's not. He is subject to 9 random tests thru the year and 3 of those are blood tests. Keep in mind that Arod has never actually tested positive. He knows how to beat the system.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I'm glad sano didn't homer there. I don't need any more heartbreak.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 The home plate umpire has called a pretty lousy game. Honestly haven't known what the call would be on any given pitch.
S. Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Once again. If Ryan had any dignity at all he would resign at the end of This season, if he was a stand up MAN he would have resigned a week ago.As much as I hate what Ryan is doing and think he needs to get the hell out, what are the chances the next GM isn't Antony or another one of the good old boys club?

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Hell of a response there.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Does Charlie brown still get heartbroken every time Lucy pulls the football away? I feel like I should stop being heartbroken every time we poo ourselves against NY Charlie usually yells out "AUGHH"
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Hell of a response there.Good thing betances was unavailable tonight.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Charlie usually yells out "AUGHH" That wasn't real similar to what I yelled. Hey might as well leave graham in to make sure we lose another!
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 At least the bullpen can take the 9th off
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 I'm glad sano didn't homer there. I don't need any more heartbreak. Robinson'll come up. He'll get the job done. No losin' hope. Just hold 'em for this inning and next. And maybe we could consider a little team conga line...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Whyyyyy is graham still in? Why paul why?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I guess we should keep Graham in there.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I'm going with the Yankees tacking on this inning.
Jham Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Are the Twins trying to trade May or something?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 And that's the end of our game DONK!
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 let 'em get a few more runs so May can come in when it doesn't matter.
