big dog Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Wow, the carousel is turning fast. Shane Robinson showing he deserves a start.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Escobar/Herrmann/Robinson = Murderer's Row
Blake Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 That was some baseball smarts. As soon as I saw Escobar extend the run down I knew the Rangers were not paying enough attention to Rosario.
wavedog Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Oh My! Even Robinson joining in the fun. On a roll now.
big dog Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Hopefully the Rangers leave Gonzalez in to work through his difficulties...
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Escobar/Herrmann/Robinson = Murderer's Row Almost as good as the playoff run with Harris, Tolbert and Punto.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 No complaints today about Sugar Shane!!! Sugar Shane?

Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Methinks Santana is cruising today.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Methinks Santana is cruising today. ...and he walks him.
rghrbek Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Not great to walk Choo and get to face the Fielder...
rghrbek Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 However, he get's out of it!!! This might be good Erving and not bad Erving today.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 The former Bud Selig. Get it together Bert.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I have 2 lefty kids, and writing is a nightmare. I guess that's why they did it. I always have been as good with my left hand as my right. I find it kind of weird that I use a knife with my right hand. I could have easily gone left with that tooI'm a natural lefty and I do a lot of things right-handed... Swing a golf club, swing a baseball bat, use scissors, use a knife, etc. It's pretty natural for a lefty to do a lot of things right-handed because we're forced to learn to work within a right-handed society. But forcibly making a kid change their natural hand can cause some pretty significant issues. The brain is wired in a particular way for a reason... Trying to change that can disrupt all sorts of things.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I'm right handed only because the nuns at school switched me. I hit, golf, and shoot left in hockey. I don't have that excuse, but I write right handed, and do most everything else left.

I achieved, but I certainly didn't take the easy road.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Almost as good as the playoff run with Harris, Tolbert and Punto. I was going to make a crack that this would be Terry's press conference next December about who the returning veteran(s) would be for 2016 and to expect them for Twinsfest, but then I decided it would be just too sad and not right for Punto to return without Gardy being here.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 He is not Sugar Shane Robinson, he is Sasquatch Shane Robinson. Reason being is he is elusive, plays bigger than he is and he is stealth in hiding out on the roster, like a cockroach you cannot rid yourself of or get rid of. Then when given the chance he springs to action during games and surprises with a hit here and there. You can live with a Sasquatch on your roster as long as you do not have to many cockroaches living in the bullpen. Need to fumigate the cockroaches in the bullpen so we have a deeper bench.I like drinking in the afternoon as well.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I hope the boys arent done hitting.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 C'mon already! FFS Santana!
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Good fffffing goodness. Got anything other than belt high fastballs to throw?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I guess the game isn't over by the 5th inning...
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Ervin, please roll the ball to the plate from here on out.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Well, that lead went away quickly.
