Winston Smith Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 He hits from both sides of the plate. He's amphibious. Yogi Berra I'm amphibious, I do something's left-handed and some right-handed, unfortunately nothing well as Yogi.

wavedog Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Good Santana for 3 innings - now turns to Bad Santana. Only good through the lineup once or twice. Get the bullpen up.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Nick Nelson @NickNelsonMN · 2m2 minutes ago Santana has struck out three of the last 78 hitters he has faced. #mntwins When its bad, its really bad.
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Nolasco sucksSantana sucks and he's a cheaterHughes had a meaningless good year and now he's at best mediocre. Maybe there was a reason why Terry Ryan didn't like spending money on starting pitching.
wavedog Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Now we are letting Chi Chi off the hook - ok we need a comeback.
Eephus Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Sounds like there's always barking chatter from the Twins dugout in that gets picked up by the Twins radio broadcast. Usually can't make out the words, but it sounds like the same voice. Pretty flippin' incessant. I think I'd get a headache if I were in the dugout. Anyone else notice this? Is it Bruno?

He moved out of his RV and is living underneath the bench.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Signing Sano makes up for every bad move Bill Smith made, imo. I'm 100% certain that Terry would never have spent the money it took.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Good Santana for 3 innings - now turns to Bad Santana. Only good through the lineup once or twice. Get the bullpen up. We need a Santana Clause: He gets $100,000 for each good inning pitched, and he gets $100,000 taken away for each bad inning pitched.
rghrbek Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 We haven't had a hit since the 2nd inning, and this guy walks Esco? It's very hard to walk Esco....How have we not gotten to this guy since the 2nd?
dougkoebernick Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 It's Gardy. He moved out of his RV and is living underneath the bench. You can tell because he has snappy nicknames for all of the new guys, like Rosie, Sany, Robbie, and Ervin.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 It's an out in Oakland, drink.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Magic is pitching today? Wow!He has a great "downward plane". Sorry, was working but just got a chance to catch the game thread.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 The smartest thing the bottom of the lineup can do against a pitcher like Gonzalez is put the bat on their shoulder and leave it there.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 We finally got the substitute math teacher to leave the classroom. Yeah.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 How do you make an out in Oakland drink? A lotta something green and foul? Oh wait. There was a comma...
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I don't have that excuse, but I write right handed, and do most everything else left.An aside, Brian Duensing writes right handed. I was at spring training three years ago and the fans were having "Brian" sign, I figured it must be Dozier (who I didn't recognize then).
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 85 posts in and no mentions of that 'stache Gonzalez was rocking? For shame.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 So... If i learned anything from last night's high lights... (and i might not have been paying too close attention, so correct me if i got it wrong) A homer to the second deck scored 2 runs. A homer to third deck scores 3. Hicks, does that give ya any ideas?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 85 posts in and no mentions of that 'stache Gonzalez was rocking? For shame. He's a pair of red sweatpants away from looking like a perv.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 The catcher was illegally blocking the path to the plate, so if Robinson had run straight to the plate he would have collided with the catcher and he would have been ruled safe. Why, this year, no controversy? While last year, so much controversy? Boring.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Tie game. Good enough for me, i think. Though sad to see Robinson get out. If the boxscore is to be believed, he hasn't been gotten out too often.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 What the **F** is Glynn doing sending Robinson there with Dozier and Mauer coming up next? Come on, man...that's just dumb baseball.
