Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Oh well.Is it better to have lead and lost, than to have never lead at all? Also wondering if perhaps the philosophy of loading the bases to set up a force might have been worth it?Meh, hindsight.I would have walked at least one.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Bullpen fails again but the offense does nothing, again. Good point. Pitching and defense get left holding the bag in 7-6 type of losses, but when it's 3-2 you have to spread the blame around more evenly.
Gene Larkin Provisional Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Outside of Perkins bullpen is now totally unreliable. Big difference between Twins and Royals
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Fien gets the blow. Can't say i approve of Twins management getting involved with that, but if they're going to distribute it then it should probably be a reward for good play instead.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Close, so close. Exciting games, I must admit. My wife is figuring out baseball and she asked if this kind of thing was normal and wonders how I'm able to deal with it. I think my wife is getting the beauty of baseball and how the home team can win like KC did tonight.

jimmer Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 So, the Twins game tonight isn't televised? Seems like the 4th of July would be the last day to take off from broadcasting.
