I hear a bunch of sick T*gers fans screaming the T word.

I was just going to comment the same .... Hearing 'Tooooorrrrriiiiiii, Tooooorrrrriiii ...'

Me too, I imaging Hicks falling asleep in the box like he always is, swings and hits a foul ball near his feet, tries to jump out of the way, falls down, and chokes on his sunflower seeds.

Where does the "Whoopie" come in? Comerica Park?

Just barely enough, but Torii gets it done. 1-1, top of eighth, CBU.

Perhaps just barely, as they are professionals, but ranging that way and then making the throw is more difficult than it looks. Trying to put anything extra on the throw is likely to pull it up the third base line, just like he did...

(I remember thinking the same thing when Hicks airmailed that sort of throw in spring training a year ago)

Try it. I'd love to see the result. I've tried, but I get stumped at anything beyond plays off of Casey at the Bat.
I would greatly fear Brian's would begin "there was a man fron Nantucket" :(

You know Brian, I am putting the J.D. Martinez Homer on you. He is still pissed from you talking Shiznit to him from the Target Field Left Field Bleachers last August! :)

I have a fond memory of that.

Hrbowski, your signature reminds me of Ogden Nash's -

"At midnight in the museum hall
The fossils gathered for a ball
There were no drums or saxophones,
But just the clatter of their bones,
A rolling, rattling, carefree circus
Of mammoth polkas and mazurkas.
Pterodactyls and brontosauruses
Sang ghostly prehistoric choruses.
Amid the mastodontic wassail
I caught the eye of one small fossil.
'Cheer up, sad world,' he said, and winked-
'It's kind of fun to be extinct.' "

I think that the Carnival of the Animals is on my mind right now. But you should seriously add that to your signature. The only thing it's lacking is some reference to the cellist in the petrified orchestra...er...choir.

Fersure. In that situation, just get it to the outfield, and good things may happen.

Lech Walesa, preferably.

Check that. Any of Magdalena Wrobel, Joanna Krupa or Izabella Scorupco would be satisfactory.
