The perception is that the Twins road has got tougher, regardless of their signings, I think.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Every other team in the AL Central (other than the White Sox) got worse as well. FWIW I think the Twins have a much better shot to compete then the Astros, Diamondbacks and Phillies.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 100, 150.....basically, the no chance bet. Hasn't really changed.
Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Place your bets now folks - lots of money to be made this season
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 just means more $$$ for the person that correctly bets that the Twins defy the odds this year. The Mets got a big boost from.... Cuddyer? I guess? Not sure how the Orioles improved their odds...
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 50 bucks on the Twins wouldn't be a bad bet. I had a friend in '87 put down a C note and hit big time. It can be done.
Brandon Verified Member Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 So what are the odds of Twins / Phillies World Series? if anyone guessed Twins and braves in 91 I wonder what the Jackpot was.

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Baseball can be a strange game at times. If the Twins win the WS in 2015, it wouldn't be the first time something happened that was beyond the scope of reality in MLB.http://www.eddiegaedelpubandgrill.com/images/Eddie-Gaedel1.jpg
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 If that's Arcia he swings.Geez Ash, your so cynical... and probably right.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I definitely will throwing (away) a few hundred at 150:1 One of these years it will hit
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 If that's Arcia he swings.
Platoon Verified Member Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 If that's Arcia he swings. No, if that's Arcia he has not only shrunk, he also became a switch hitter! Or maybe he's just playing against the "GIANTS"
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 If that's Arcia he swings. If that's Molina catching he "frames" it into a called stike.
glunn Community Moderator Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I think that I will stick to the over-under in 2015 unless the series odds go to at least 400 to 1.
