Black Jack just lost a ton of credibility... Santana above average CF? Passable, sure, hit well, yeah... Above average CF? No...

I do agree with you. But he's doing well enough at the plate. He can keep cf warm til Buxton shows up.

Been a while since I saw a Twins pitcher get a swinging strike on a pitch that much below the strike zone (Domingo Santana).  I thought it was only Twins batters who were allowed to swing at those.

dont get me wrong, I like Santana as a SS, I think he's fine as a CF, but his fielding technique is still bad, he's just so fast he can make up for it. That doesn't make him above average, just fast

In tribute to Robin Williams go to you tube and watch Mork vs Necrotons with Raquel Welsh. Of course, wait until after the game you won't want to miss any of the game.

Remember when the season started and everyone said the Tigers would walk away with the division?

Now Verlander's out with "shoulder soreness."

I think he's doing alright in CF. We needed it and he stepped up and did it. He'll keep getting better at it.

I think its good for his career... Multi Position experience.

I concur with Black Jack. Santana's routes are a little rough still but he has the speed to catch up to most balls and... I like the quick flip short stop throws. I know you're taught to crow hop, get behind the ball yada yada. But it seems to me he gets the balls in just as fast, if not faster, by just gripping and ripping.

true, and he typically hits the cutoff man.

That is the kind of inning that makes me not want to watch. Plouffe is a terrible situational hitter.

Vargas makes a rookie mistake and Astros don't throw him out.  We should be watching AA :)

Oh look, runners left in scoring position.

We traded the Hammer and we can still do that. And people thought the team would fall apart without the Hammer.

It occurs to me that we've been doing a lot of assuming regarding Buxton: that he will show up soon and do fantastically. May ... be

Will do.

I like his role in Adventures of Baron Munchausen...

Something's really screwy. I'm reading the posts and almost all of them are about baseball, even the game currently in progress.

OMG... You are right... Let's change that.

Tattoos? I can see getting married and having a couple of kids... But a Tattoo... That's so permanent!

Request to mods if there's time: Please change the little title thingy over my invisible pix to read Jedi Jr., as the master is our man from Oz, Mr. Teekz. (sp?)  I'd do it but I swear there is no option when I do the clicks you recommend. That is all.
