OK...7 songs.

It's a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong.

And only Louis Armstrong.

All other versions suffer by comparison.

I would agree with that. And if anyone says the Willie Nelson version comes close I'll stab your ears.

You will only be able to listen to 5 songs the rest of your life.  You have 1 minute to decide which 5.

GO!

Adagio for Strings - Barber

Don't Fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult

Sinnerman - Nina Simone

I am the Doctor - Murray Gold

The End - The Doors

Bonus - Beethoven 9th.

2nd bonus - Brick House - The Commodores.

1.  Ain't Wastin' Time - The Allman Brothers

2.  Feelin' Alright - Joe Cocker

3.  My Old School - Steely Dan

4.  Third Rate Romance - Amazing Rythem Aces

5.   Honky Tonk Woman -  Rolling Stones

The list may change if you ask me tomorrow.

1. Good call with Ain't wasting time no more... My favorite Allman Brothers tune.

2. I love Joe Cocker but in this case I prefer the Traffic Dave Mason Original. For Cocker... You can leave your hat on or Delta Lady.

3. Good call on My Old School... But I still got FM and Deacon Blues ahead of it.

4. Third Rate Romance... That doesn't fit your list.

5. I love Honky Tonk Women... How can you not but the have have so many. Dead Flowers... Monkey Man.... Sympathy... Tumbling Dice... Almost anything with Taylor on Guitar.

My list:

1. Down by the River -- Neil Young or any cover of.

2. Since I've been Loving You - Led Zeppelin... Zeppelin and Zeppelin only.

3. Little Wing - Jimi Hendrix or any cover of.

4. Don't Thing Twice It's alright - Bob Dylan or any cover of.

5. Bell Bottom Blues -- Derek and the Dominoes

Great list...except for the Henrix  :)

And you're totally WRONG on the Steely Dan comment.  WRONG I tells you.  Just...wrong.

Chief, if you like this version, you'll like his version of 'La vie en rose' too

Maybe now would be a good time to head to the store ... when all the 10s of thousands are all contained within the fences of LaLa.
