When it was first reported, the other team wasn't listed.  It now looks like he was acquired by the Nationals.

Yep, see  it now on the Twitter feed.

If Suzuki started hitting .180 tomorrow is there anyone that really believes he could bring it back to .300? Gotta trade him while his value is so high.

Why would he suddenly start hitting .180? I get it, he is having a career year, but it's not all based on luck, he is on pace for 35 doubles this year, doubles aren't the result of luck.

I'd have to imagine there have been a few calls about Duensing.  I think Bastardo is still out there too, but there aren't a ton of LHR out there.

I might even go 3/21. I know it's a reach. I know it's overpaying. But I believe that Suzuki's going to continue to hit .280+ with the plate discipline he suddenly has. This isn't just a bunch of lucky bounces.

This whole trade deadline has really destroyed my productivity at work today.  I should have taken a vacation day.

Now word is Tigers pursuing Price.  Would be just the Twins luck to get him in division.

Not only in on Price, but appear to be the front runners.

Yankess likely out on Price. What does NYY have if the Twins packaged Willingham and Correia to them? Any lower level prospects that look interesting?

Gardner might be nice.

He isn't going to hit start hitting .180. He may start hitting .250. If you mix that with an ISO that ranks 147th of 156 qualified batters you get a poor offensive player.

Maybe a Tiger's trade for Price would gut the farm system so that by the time the Twins are good the Tigers will be down!

'@MLBcathedrals: Per Jim Bowden, the #Mets remaining home games at Citi Field have been moved to Yankee Stadium until a shark net can be installed.'

Now that's a trade.

Well if you are talking about both of them, then I think they could get Shane Greene (SP) or Ramon Flores (OF).

Would Yankees even be interested in Willingham now that they have Marlon Byrd?

Check that...maybe the Yanks haven't made a Byrd trade yet.  Anyone know?

There is no way the Yankees take both Willingham and Correia, particularly not if they have to give up anything.  Actually, maybe taking Correia would be what the Yankees would have to pay to get Willingham.

It's hard to imagine the Tigers having enough in their minor leagues to acquire Price.  The acquisitions of Lester, Samardzija show just how costly that is.  Price is better than either of those and comes with an extra year of control allowing a chance at an extension or a qualifying offer.  What do the Tigers have to bargain with?  Ray and .....?

I thought I read earlier today that Miller is a FA after this year?

Dave you may be right, I could be misinterpreting the baseball-reference link. Maybe when it says "2015" it means for the 2015 Free Agency period, not after 2015 season.

It does.  He will be available this offseason barring an extension.

I just don't see it. Their system had Castellanos and Ray in the top 100 last year.  Neither is exactly on par with the Wil Myers/Odorizzi package.  Castellanos, Smyly, and something?  I think the Rays do better in the offseason

It sounds like there may be a three team trade between the Mariners, Tigers and Rays for Price.

Crazy day!

Ken Rosenthal reporting that Price may be part of a three team trade. Can this day get any more crazy?

Rumor has it that it is a Detroit, TB and Minnesota Ménage a trade.

Duensing is the center piece.
