  1. I may be the only one, but this article has caused me to be somewhat anxious about the Twins' future.. Where are the superstars who are currently producing minor league super stats?
  2. Tom, I just looked at the images of the Pensacola ball park and the Wichita ballpark. One stood out by leaps and bounds over the other in my opinion. I'll not say which one looked better to me, since beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think it will be evident if you look at multiple pictures of both the ballparks.
  3. Two roads diverged in a yellow wood.
  4. Interesting proposal. I'm reminded of the race car driver who said, when he say a wreck on the track, he pushed the accelerator to the floorboard, because he knew all the other drivers were letting up.
  5. Free Jake Reed. I hope he will be another Liam Hendricks.
  6. My scientific research says the Duff-man wins based on my loudest "WHOA !
  7. Please, not Trevor Bauer. Even though I am have never met the man, I believe he is a headcase extraordinaire.
  8. Ted, I am sorry about the loss of your father. 2020 has been a terrible year for a lot of folks for a lot of reasons. However the loss of a father is particularly painful and makes one circumspective. I had no idea how painful the loss of one's father could be, until I lost mine 9 years ago I suggest you remember the good times. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. David
  9. 2020 has been a bad year all around. I did not enjoy this baseball season. I missed the minor league games and the fantastic minor league TD reports. The statistics, which help make baseball so important to me, were meaningless this year. We couldn't go to the ball parks. Covid-19 has been awful. At least we have intelligent, mature, polite politicians who are governing us...oh wait ...did you watch the great debate last night. Good grief! .
  10. I would have like to have seen Buck bunt in that situation also.
  11. I'm sorry to say this, but I have to agree with your points.
  12. 6th overreaction: I know I overreacted with my 9th inning throw of my laptop at my tv. . I replaced the laptop tonight. The new TV will be delivered tomorrow morning.
  13. Great article Nick. Thanks. I do have one minor point: Jeffers graduated from UNC-Wilmington, not UNC, which is my alma mater, and is located in Chapel Hill.
  14. Think of the possible consequences of a bench clearing brawl during this pandemic.
  15. Here's my North Carolina formula for this question: 1 + 4 +3 = 2 > 1+4+3=1
  16. Really nice post Thank you. You are hereby circled. O
  17. I really did not expect anything from Homer Bailey, but Rich Hill has been disappointing. But I digress, because this article is about the past week. .
  18. "But time makes you bolder. even children grow older, and I'm gettin' older too." Fleetwood Mac..".Landslide" I enjoyed watching May, Odorizzi, Adrianza and Marwin, but they're gettin' older. and none of them are a Cruz, or a Mauer. . There are cheaper players already in the Twins organization, one of whom will become a Joe Nathan, one will become a Camilo Pascual, and one will become Royce Lewis.
  19. Victory, victory, that's my cry. V.I.C.T.O.R.Y.
  20. I'm very excited to play Cleveland. I spent a week there one night.
  21. Congratulations to a fellow North Carolinian. Go Twins.
