    I would hate to see Arraez go to another team. But with Lewis and Miranda on their way up sometime soon, something needs to change, I contend that Arraez should DH enough to get 500 at bats a season. Would you rather Arraez get 500 bats at DH or would you rather the 500 at bats at DH be 250 to Sanchez and 150 to Sano and 50 to Jeffers and 50 to Gio? Trade Sanchez and Sano at the trading deadline for a "defense first" catcher who bats lefthanded and more young flame throwers.

    Congratulations to all the winners. Well-deserved my fellow posters. You, above all others, are most worthy. While I do realize I am not worthy, it does hurt, not being at least mentioned in passing, for the heart and soul which I put into my posts.

    That relay from Kirilloff to Correa to Sanchez was beautiful. Then Dick and Justin replayed it several times and explained why the throw to Correa was on the glove side of Correa and how all 3 players involved, had set themselves up for success by Kirilloff's footwork, Correa glancing back at the runner and his footwork and Sanchez placing his legs in front of the plate, thus blocking the runner, and catching and holding the ball. Morneau said it takes a good first relay throw to make the second relay throw successful. It was a beautiful play which was explained to us viewers in an excellent manner.

    Manaea pitched 7 innings of no-hit ball today. Rogers pitched 1 inning yesterday, no hits and got the save.

    Why do teams a player to be named later? What is the purpose of the delay? Possibly the Twins will have a choice of 1 of 3 minor leaguers and the Twinkies can wait to see how those 3 do over the next few months before choosing? Or some other reasons?

    What I was trying to say was that the Twinkies could have gotten Manaea for a similar minor league prospects which San Diego gave up, thus getting one more possible starter (who is a lefty) and still kept Taylor.

    I'm a;ll for signing Correa, but I think the Twins shou;ld have traded for Manaea, due to the weak haul the A's got for Manaea from San Diego. San Diego in effect replaced 3 years of Paddack for 1 year of Manaea and two years of Pagan for 1 year of Rogers. Interesting.
