  1. He seems to be okay pitching against anyone but Cleveland.
  2. Too many young players who need those at bats more than Cruz.
  3. Many of Rocco's decisions make 0 sense. The day he cleans out his office I will celebrate by popping open a bottle of wine... and I haven't had a drink in 17 years.
  4. Especially when EVERYONE in the bullpen was available, except Cotton. I don't see why they didn't let Jax at least start the 8th, he has been a starter, he can try to get 6 outs.
  5. There is no reason for Pagan to be pitching in that spot after last week. I'm not sure what the logic is behind it when everyone else in the bullpen was available.
  6. I was shocked to see the financial data here, it would be a no brainer if I were in his shoes.
  7. Urshela has made difficult plays look easy, I've watched a lot of baseball this season, and I've not seen any third basemen make plays the way Gio has. He definitely has to be in the conversation for the Gold Glove at 3rd,
  8. Leaving the series in a relative divisional tie despite 2 bullpen implosions and being held to one run today is shaky but not as bad as a sweep.
  9. The former players who broadcast with Dick Bremer have said this as well. Consistency helps them get into a rhythm.
  10. Thankfully Cleveland lost last night and it looks like Ramirez will miss a few days, winning today would be a great way to go into the off day tomorrow.
  11. Trust me, I hope to be wrong. But losing winnable games early can be a killer down the stretch.
  12. 85ish may be about right but it may not be enough to get to the post-season.
  13. The Central is Cleveland's to win right now, they're a red hot team that is clicking while the Twins lose games they should win while the bullpen implodes and offense disappears.
  14. Cleveland has been red hot but gets the Dodgers and hopefully they lose some of those games, people in baseball think the White Sox will get hot and make things interesting, and they've won 3 in a row. Hopefully playing 3 games in Houston will cool them off a bit. The Central will be an interesting race down the stretch. As far as who comes out on top, I think it will ultimately come down to who is healthiest down the stretch and which teams make moves the soonest. The fan part of me wants to believe the Twins will win, but being realistic it will be tough.
  15. Hopefully I'm wrong and the Twins sweep AZ this weekend and then win all 8 against Cleveland and run away with the division by the All Star Break.
