  1. Miranda and Royce look like the real deal. Wallner could be a good replacement for Kepler in the near future. Polacios and Contreras are both AAA talent.
  2. No thanks, clean house now since next season won't be any better.
  3. He get's on base and rarely strikes out and can also play all over the field. He won't win a Gold Glove anywhere but he is serviceable wherever he plays.
  4. Good defensively, hopefully the change to the shift rules will benefit him as will making some adjustments to his swing.
  5. Megill needs to be DFA. There has to be someone better to try out from AAA.
  6. Judge should be the MVP, leads in almost every offensive category and is leading his team to wins and the postseason. Ohtani is a great player, and the most valuable player on the Angels, but not the AL.
  7. He looks like he may be their DH of the future. It would stink since he is so elite as a defender but if the goal is to have his bat in the lineup that may be their only real option.
  8. Timely hitting and horrendous defense by the Angels = Twins win.
  9. I fear Mahle may end up being injury prone as well. The fact the Twins still made the deal for him knowing he was damaged is still quite infuriating. Hopefully he can give them 30 starts next season and 150+ innings. Ober should definitely get a shot at a rotation spot.
  10. Since Correa is opting out, the Twins need to play him every single game now. Every inning. Get their money's worth.
  11. Correa is gone and someone is gonna pay him big money
  12. Glad the season is over soon, hopefully there is a complete rebuild on the horizon.
  13. Ryan has earned the right to pitch late into games, hopefully Rocco or whoever is manager next season let's home do it consistently.
  14. Things started out rough, then turned pretty good, and now have completely unraveled. I think even with the injuries they had a good chance of contention but I look back at the mismanagement of the bullpen in late June as the start of the death spiral which we're seeing now come to fulfillment.
  15. Last week of June. Cleveland series. Multiple blown saves by Pagan.
  16. Are you asking a serious question? You can tell by players body language when they've pretty much given up because they know that what their manager is doing not going to lead to success. Last summer was pretty obvious example of this.
  17. Rocco's version as opposed to how other teams use analytics but not at the expense of common sense and having a baseball IQ.
  18. I'm surprised the team hasn't quit completely like they did last season. I would find it very difficult to play for a manager who constantly makes the wrong decision and loses game after game and doesn't learn from his mistakes. I also don't see the Twins getting any front of the rotation starters as long as Rocco is manager. The best thing they can do in the offseason is move on from him. Rocco's version of analytics doesn't work.
  19. Mauer and Arraez have similar personalities I believe, which is one of the reasons Twins fan love Arraez so much
  20. He seems to be a pretty nice guy and lowkey down to earth.
