  1. It shouldn't have been so close, but I'll take it over yesterdays performance.
  2. I'd rather see them miss the playoffs than be swept in the wildcard round..... again.
  3. Cleveland is currently in 2nd and winning right now, if we lose and they win the lead is 3.5 games I believe. They've got the pitching to contend but to your point, their hitting has to pick up.
  4. I found it amazing that a team that went 3-7 over 10 games didn't lose any ground in a division race. You're right, 81-85 wins may win this division.
  5. Great podcast today. Their conversation about the Pagan/Duran debate was quite interesting.
  6. Hated it at the time, but almost a year later I think, with his inconsistencies, the Twins did well.
  7. What if he goes to the Field of Dreams and convinces Killebrew and Puckett to come out of the cornfield and play for us? ?
  8. Looks like he could have a promising future as the Twins starting left fielder, would like to see him lower that strikeout % and get more hits with RISP.
  9. As bad as this week has gone, they've still got a 4.5 game lead over Cleveland right now and 5 over the White Sox. It's pretty bad when you have a 3-7 stretch and haven't really lost any ground in the division.
  10. Top of the order (2,3,4) I can understand, but leadoff? That's entirely different. Especially when Buxton and Arraez are both options. And even Larnach would be a better option IMO. I knew it was gonna be a disaster before the game even started.
  11. Yep, Jim Kaat specifically mentioned that yesterday, it messes with guys when they don't know if or where they will be playing or hitting in the lineup. Rocco needs to set a lineup and stick with it because his incompetence is killing this team again.
  12. Alright Rocco defenders, how do you justify a lineup where Garlick is hitting leadoff? Wait. You can't. The guy is clueless.
  13. I tried to tell someone this on another page and they weren't comprehending that you can't wait until the wheels fall off to make moves.
  14. Even with a soon, the Twins may still be in first place because the rest of the division doesn't seem to wanna win gain any ground. And with TA out for the White Sox definitely impacts their chances.
  15. Agreed, Miranda needs to just hold onto that ball and not try to get too cute. As far as Correa and Buxton, Rocco strikes again.
