  1. I thought Buxton got lucky on the bouncing double. His swings were not finding the ball. It looks like a good game on paper but he doesn't yet pass the eye test.
  2. Godoumit. seems like more than just bad luck. Really disappointing.
  3. His 3 strike outs yesterday was disappointing, but momma said there'd be days like that. I remain optimistic.
  4. I did my own independent survey. The concensus was that it's nothing to worry about. No sweat. LOOK for something else to fret about. Keep the line moving. Home runs are rally enders.
  5. Does saying that there is pressure on Ober to perform make it truer than for any other player? I don't think so.
  6. I finger pick Stagger Lee. Good reference.
  7. Good idea. The fans will love this. It feels like a new feeling of a baseball family. Great addition.
  8. I believe that our option B for anybody must be better than playing option A if he is injured. I want us to be that deep and that good.
  9. I don't like the defensive outlook for 2b. We have depth, yes, but I have to question the defense.
  10. The data is dizzying. Whelming. I'm ready to see some green grass. 3 feet of snow here. And it's raining. Play ball.
  11. I can't get excited about setting our goals for a half-time Buxton. Raise the floor. Find someone healthy FFS. He did not help us as our dh last year. If he can't run in the outfield and can't dh, we need to upgrade.
  12. I think it's pretty difficult to make significant swing adjustments when guys are throwing in the upper 90's. Spin and translate the numbers any way you can. Hitting is tough.
  13. There is a difference between a log jam and a sweeper.
  14. If he doesn't drown in the number swamp... sure, he might make a step forward. I hope he becomes a superstar.
  15. I say they will all get better. And next year I will say I told you so. That's better than looking for regression and getting it. Hanging on to hope.
  16. Playing every day that he is healthy. Rest only as needed. Hitting like we know he can. Running like we know he can. Throwing like we know he can. That would be a success.
  17. Boring. Nope. Gonna hop on board of the Lewis Train and enjoy the ride for as long as it lasts.
