  1. Our rainy summer has kept me indoors and watching more than I want to now, as we fade away to sub .500 T'ins. Noffense is boring to watch. Giving up 2 or 3 runs and feeling like we have no chance of mounting a rally sucks. I feel for our pitchers.
  2. We don't have enough bottom of the order slots for all of our bottom of the order hitters.
  3. Another loss today. 3-0. We can't hang this loss in our pitchers. Gotta find some bats or a new hitting approach. Change the hitting coach. We have too many guys looking lost at the plate. Pablo's numbers would look better if we gave him ( and the others) some run support. Today was dismal again.
  4. If we only had an offense...smh
  5. Let Gallo go. Any direction. Just go. I will miss Max but I'll get over it. I have hoped for him to get back to good. It ain't happening. Go Max too.
  6. King for a day. But tomorrow? BuKKKston
  7. What has Toby done for us? It doesn't appear to me that the guys coming up are prepared fundamentally. I don't think Toby is the answer.
  8. Who would we get more for in a trade, Kepler, Gallo, or Larnach?
  9. Earlier this spring I heard the slumping Correa tell a reporter to check back in with him later in the summer when it starts to warm up. Insinuating that he would warm up with the weather. It's too bad it took so long, if this is him warming up. 2.5 months? $$$
  10. If he is hitting, dh him. Until Buxton hits better. Play the hot hand. His only way onto the lineup is if his bat hot. I think Gallo is a bigger problem.
  11. If playing an oft-injured Polanco is better than playing his replacement, then I think we are hurting ourselves. I like Jorge when he is healthy. But i don't remember the last time he was 100%. Watch him swing. And run. Him playing injured can't be better than another option. Like Buxton's situation. Don't put injured players on the field. They hurt the team.
  12. I've been a Max fan and supporter. But his arm is average and his bat is a no-show, his defense is good but seldom great or even exciting.
  13. It seems like we have given up way too many 2 strike hits. Home runs too. Guys prove they can't hit a 95+ fastball and our catchers call for off speed. BOOM. There it goes.
  14. I'm seeing more close low-scoring games with varying results and strike-out discrepancies. I will be dead before I believe that striking out is ok. That they are no worse than weak contact. Today's game was not an anomaly.
  15. We had 17 strike outs today. We won 9-4. Do strike outs matter?
  16. Noffense. Pfft. Boring to watch. And tough on our starting pitchers.
  17. And Polanco hurt again. It's time to find someone else to call the "heart and soul" of the team. You can't make the club in the tub.
  18. The T'ins have returned. Not enough wins to qualify for a W. Sub .500 play =T'ins. But we did outhit the Rays yesterday. And they struck out more than us. Could we outscore them and somehow still manage to lose?
  19. We outhit them yesterday. And they struck out more than we did. SMH. Go T'ins. No 'W'in in them. I'll return the w when they get back above .500 Time to watch my carrots grow. I do like our pitchers.
