    Grey for me.

I have been shot down here before for suggesting using Polanco as a dh because he makes too much money. I still like the idea of have a switch hitter there. Polanco fits. Let him find his groove there. Simple.

Finally! no secret decoder ring needed! A baseball article that wasn't loaded with Statcast numbers. I understand words. Thank you.

My uncertainty could be alleviated for much less than millions of dollars. And I wouldn't play this year either. Grampa.

IF we have the best health for every player on our roster, sustained, record-setting GOOD health, we could be a very fun team to watch.
  6. joefish
I will be surprised if we see him pitch again. I have doubted him all the way.
  7. joefish
If healthy, I agree! And I am looking forward to them both.
  8. joefish
I wish he was given a shot at starting.

We can't move Correa to 3rd because he makes too much to play there? Did I infer incorrectly?
  10. joefish
He did say collusion, not collision, in case that matters.😀

I can only hope(again) (because I don't remember any prayers) that Lewis comes in healthy and strong and we celebrate.

Give me the best defender we can get. Glove first. I was a pitcher though.
  13. joefish
Let's ask the pitchers who they want playing defense behind them.
  14. joefish
No thank you, Manfred. Respectfully. No thanks.

Says every team everywhere. Really. Everybody hopes. Every team. Every coach. Every fan. Every manager. It's a big boat and we are all in it together.

I think Varland has a lot more to prove. I have not seen enough of him to be confident about his spot in the rotation.

Maybe it's time to make Duran a starter. Let him be our ACE if we need one

Sonny would be the guy I would most want to watch pitch. That nasty running fastball down and in on left handed batters is a pitch of beauty. Based on what I saw last season, he would be my #1.
  19. joefish
He had a 5 hit game once(good) and that means what? There is room for growth?
  20. joefish
Yes. It will look like it used to.

I have a tough time getting excited about a prospect who isn't good enough to compete for a starting defensive position. Utility? I hope for more.
  22. joefish
Are we close to a contender, or close to "being" a contender? There is a difference.

It seems to me that our system produces guys who can be versatile. I would prefer specialists. At least some. Our young guys just don't seem ready for their assignments.
  24. joefish
This list is a reason for optimism. Dilly! Dilly.

I really like the way Sonny pitches. I like watching him throw. He is almost an Artist. Almost an Ace.
