I live in Alaska and I look forward to the West Coast swings. Although it might not be dark here, it still feels a bit like night baseball. Which I like.
And when Buxton reached out and pulled a low outside fastball down the left field line one announcer raved about his plate coverage. He should have driven it down the right field line, where it was pitched.
I'm glad he got the hit but...
Maybe quit throwing out the baseballs that touch the dirt. Use the scuffed balls. Get more movement without increased spin rate.
Something else to look at
I am finding that all of this versatility and utility to be a weakness.
I look forward to CC and Royce getting us back to stability, if Rocco can manage that.
Really boring baseball. Pathetic. Bad swings. Bad takes. Missing pitches right down the middle of the plate.
Hard to watch. Maybe a road trip will help. Me.
I can't buy the mental part of dhing.
Swing the bat. Wait your turn. Study the pitcher. Get used to it. It's better than not playing. But jeffers stunk last night too. Again.
Maybe having a different dh every game is the problem. And Rocco's musical chairs lineups.
Way too early to be worried about anything. It's not too early to start complaining though.
Gotta start sometime. Ramp up slowly.
Doumit, Rocco, tell em to quit striking out.
