    This 2 strike pitch calling or location has been a problem. Too many hard hit balls with 2 strikes in high leverage situations. Some game breaking home runs also. They need a better 2 strike plan. The pitchers.

    I would like to see how we compare to giving up HR'S with 2 strikes on the hitters. And two strike hits as well. Is it pitch calling/selection, or location. Way too many, way too often, in big situations

    I don't think adding a spark from a minor leaguer is gonna push this team into anything it is not now. The team needs to play better baseball. Is the team looking for a Miracle from St. Paul? I doubt it. Who do we have over there who will lead us to a successful post season? Cut Gallo. Lol.

    Most preseason guesses I saw had us winning 80+ games. Just above a .500 mark. I wanted more but my prediction was 85. I wish for more, but we should get there. Maybe we get hot and ride it into the playoffs. Maybe. I hope.

    This would be easier for me if Kepler's first half more closely resembled the start of this second half. I was ready to part ways with him. Now we are seeing him hit the ball again. And we need that, along with his defense.

    What is our team batting average against left handed pitchers- comparing our RH hitters vs our LH hitters? Are our left handed hitters doing worse than our right handed swingers?

    Yes. We struck out 10 times and gave up 8 stolen bases. How do you win games like that? With a walk off HR I guess. Strange game.

    Lots to be considered. I sound like an old schooler because I am one. I wonder how these modern bigger and stronger hitters would fare against old school pitchers. Almost certainly the increased speed fascination will take a toll, but today's arms are doing less and less work over the long haul. All of the TJ surgeries scream at something.

    I can't buy the arm fatigue issue. Starting Pitchers pitching 5 or 6 innings every 5 days? Remember when teams had 3 man starting rotations? Or 4 if they were lucky?

    The best part of baseball is hitting. DH would be the best job in the world. I don't understand how having to play defense would make you better hitter.
