  1. His fielding skill need to improve vastly and the Majors is not where you do that; Twins have had a number of rookies who come up do well then fall on their face's batting.
  2. Ushela's glove should be in the game full time except Baldelli's rest thing.
  3. RpR

    A great problem

Most seem certain Correa will not stay, but then they also thought there was no way he would come here, amazing.
  4. Or it could be like Refsnyder, this is about as good as it gets.
  5. Height reach makes up to a degree for the throw.
  6. Garlick is better in left field than Larnach, and can hit left hand pitchers much better than most of the team, we still do not have a a left fielder as good there as Buxton and Kepler are in center and right. Larnach does have better numbers in right field and can make a good back-up for Kepler.
  7. He bobbled one ball and had an error on another; he was one swing from a tie game. You do not use the Big Show to learn how to field well at short stop when you will not be playing there.
  8. Even though this series was an insult to Twins fans, it is too early in the year to let it linger in one's attitude.
  9. Roy Smalley, he had 20 home runs by All-Star break and just a handful the rest of the year. Twins missed a big chance, R. Cano has signed with the Padres.?
  10. Or he is facing the Minor League equivalant of the Twins.
  11. Hmm, back in the day when sports figures were critisized for being boozing party-hardy dudes, they pitched 9-11-13 or more innings, with rarely more than two pitchers in a game, some times pitching two days in a row. While home runs 470-500 feet were not rare either, so were low digit one run games. I guess these gym ritual, healthy young dudes just have the bloom off of the rose early nowadays.?
  12. If only Arraez had Gordon's speed; Buxton's drop seems rather odd but then no one is doing much except Celestino.
  13. Luck has zip to do with it, lack of good coaches is probably a reality.
  14. This may be all he ever was; Cave came up and looked good, for awhile; Rooker came up and looked good, for awhile....
  15. They are for but what real is , is the problem.
  16. Jeffers should still be in AAA, we miss Rortvedt immensely much better than run-at-will Jeffers.
  17. The the defense that killed them often last year is back; so many wanted to see the rookies come up, they have; now send the back.
  18. Well Sixty miles or so North of the Stadium, the sky is now dark and thunder in the distance so I really doubt there will be a game today.
  19. It is early in the season; a month from now will tell far, far, far more. I still remember way back when Buxton, Hicks and Sano were the Twins future, then there was Rooker the latest greatest, time will tell.
  20. Let's hope he continues near his current pace; I love his speed in the outfield and defense is what the Twins cannot afford to lose.
  21. I am waiting to see when Sturgeon and Fisher get called up; problem is they are both out fieldes and the Twins do not seem to be lacking in those. Why on earth did Iowa put Simmons at DH?
  22. Gordon's Rtot numbers are all positive this year; Arreaz Rtot number at 2nd and 3rd are all negative. Dump Arreaz and keep Gordon, plus Gordon has speed, and speed on bases is a strong positive.
