    Until we know how much the Twins really have this is conjecture, therefore; necessity is does not exist except in some pessimistic conjectures.

    His fielding at Second Base far better than Julien's; there is not replacement for him at second base.

    He has played 1 whole game at First Base, Brilliant.

    Lewis played more than a handful of games in the Minors at 2 spots, SS and 3rd Base. He is not playing Short Stop so his position will be 3 rd Base, the Twins are not going to make him flail away at a spot he a whopping whole 1 game in the Minors.

    Wallner is at best, on his best day, an average fielder who looks a lot like Gallo fairly often with his bat.

    For a truly top pitcher, to replace Gray, you are going to have to offer Lewis, with Kepler and or Polanco and or one of our 4th or 5th starting pitchers. Garbage in , garbage out does not work; been there, done that.

    Well he still may sign, I will leave the doom and gloom IF we finally have try to find a pitcher of equal ability. Remember we got Correa, so the Twins Org. must have some appeal.

    That is, assuming, the replacement is of equal talent both fielding and with a bat as the one he replaces.

    IT is a TEAM sport, not a single player on the team sport. Front Office does what they think is good for the team, whether we like it or not.

    Second Base -- Julien will have to find a spot where his poor glove work is not a hindrance.

    Several on-line sports sites, noted how the Vikings offense totally disappeared in the Second Half.

    Castro only, as a back-up to a veteran back-up for Buxton. Gordon is probably going to play esle where and Martin is still a AAA rookie. Buxton now had a surgery rather than pretending he is well enough to play. Judging next year by past years is a waste of time as the surgery could change a lot.

    I would go with Ron Washington as he was the starting SS in 1982 and 1983.

    They probably will not but right now a lot are trade happy, thinking the unknown is better than the known. Odd with Polanco and Kepler being the longest term Twins as it seems like just a short time a go they were newbies.

    Curious how would Right Field would be less harmful that Center Field.

    Check the stats. ; Kepler is not the good outfielder in Center he is in Right Field, which is why he rarely has played there.

    Actually Buxton's health problems has given a whole gaggle of newbies and rookies a chance to show their stuff.

    The numbers show if Kirilloff goes in the field, it would be right field.

    Martin has played 12 games in Center Field in AAA; he is a rookie and the Twins are not a farm team replacement.

    Too many people are still gaga over his GS home runs which cam because the other team walked a lot of people , often. Assume he is going to be an above average player, all around, and relax.
