    Texas leading Baltimore 10-5 ... Like mentioned above the east have lost every game so far ... If the east doesn't get into the ALCS or NLCS TV ratings will be zilch and mlb will be crying ...

    Right now we are on the playoffs ... In the past Rocco in the playoffs hasn't had a good track record managing ... I'm not going to jinx the Twins and say anything negative , but I'll wait till the series is over and hopefully be talking positivity about the manager in the ALDS ... There's a first time for everyone ...

    Good story ... Lopez the artist has painted his pitches almost all season ( a span of few starts he lost his MOJO in May ) ... I hated losing arraez but the trade has worked out , our starters have been solid this season and Lopez the artist and Gray the bulldog and the others are what brought us to the playoffs ...

    There young and need experience ... Don't know why Julien thought of running with the play right in front of him , did he think that there was 2 outs ( i don't know where his head was ) ... Can't believe we didn't capitalize against Verlander , we beat Toronto's gausman in wild card game 1 , our 2 best pitchers held them to 1 run in 2 games , Lopez the artist needs to be on his game and paint the pitches ... Get the win today and momentum will turn towards the Twins at home for games 3 and 4 ... If the twins can Settle their nerves and play a flawless game they can win , game 1 was not flawless ... Go Twins , the fans are behind you ...

    Yes , game 2 is a must win ... Split the games in Houston and that's a win for the Twins with momentum ....

    Gotta play with that killer instinct they showed in the wild card series ... Those were the 2 best games they played all year ... Determination and patience .... They didn't show that in game 1 of ALDS ...

    Jax has military experience and I think he is always up for the challenge because of his makeup ... However Jax does struggle at times with his stuff , I have posted this a few times , if Jax is on his game he needs less than 15 pitches to retire the side , if he needs more get him out of there after the 3rd hitter and not allow him to go a full inning like Rocco has done in the past ... Try not to use him on consecutive days but now is the playoffs and anything goes , keep the adrenaline flowing ...

    The 3 keys to winning ... Pitching , defense and hitting ... swing at those close pitches with 2 strikes , put the ball in play , hopefully stay out of the double play and steal some bases ... Go Twins

    Top 5 performances ... Game 1 , Correa throwing out runner at home ... Lewis hitting 2 run homerun and a solo homerun ... Lopez pitching 5 plus innings ... Game 2 , Pickoff play at second base , Correa and gray ... Sonny Gray pitching 5 bulldog innings ...

    I see where you went with this , past playoff pitchers but when I first read it Terry Ferrell pop into my head , in 4 years with twins he was 0-16 , never pitched in mlb for anybody else ...

    It was a great rotation all year ,,, They kept us in alot of games ,,, Alot of consistency and Sonny had that , to bad the Twins lineup didn't support him with runs ... I'd have to go with Lewis as mvp , I know he only played a 1/3rd of the season but what he brought to the club besides his bat and glove is his winng attitude that sparked the team ... Projections of Lewis if stayed healthy, he would definitely have had a mvp season in the league .... I think Lewis is a keeper , congratulations Sonny Gray ...

    I too have never been a Rocco follower and one reason is I see no fire in him ... But his post game interview sure showed differently and his fire was encouraging ... He needs to always show that fire to inspire his players , I have to admit I got goose bumps from his post game comment's ...

    Why can't we get the players to swing at close pitches with 2 strikes , go down swinging is better than just standing there .... It's in the hands of the umpires to call balls and strikes , it's in the batters hands to swing away ..
